The Digger Man Blog from Earthmovers Magazine recently featured David Wylie’s in-depth review of the 1:48 scale Cat® 375L, and after reading what he had to say we felt the need to share this with our collectors.
CCM have gone the extra mile on the undercarriage of all three models, as it actually extends and retracts by about 6-7mm each side to mirror the scale and function of the real machine for ease of transport on the highway!

Thanks for offering this great model of my favorite excavator of all types ever – the beauty 375ME! I also think it’s the best 1/48 diecast model CCM ever produced. There’s just one comment (sorry, I’m a bit of a perfectionist..) – the lightframes on the boom are located as with the 385ME / 390. On the 375ME they should be positioned much more to the front (away from the cabin). Seems the boom of CCM’s 390 had been used for this model? But overall, my compliments on the 375ME!
