Recently we had the opportunity to speak with Carlos Diaz when he stopped by our office with a completely weathered Cat® 6015B Hydraulic Mining Shovel. We were so impressed that we couldn’t help but to take a few photos and get his insights to share with our collectors.
“This project wasn’t about creating a new machine from an existing model, but rather about giving the model a ‘weathered’ appearance, like you would see one on a job site in real life. I prefer the models in my collection to appear as if they are a working machine as opposed to one that just rolled off the factory line. This is the newest CCM model in my collection, so I just had to ‘put it to work.'”

Many thanks to Carlos Diaz for stopping by the office to show off his amazing work. The quality of work and level of detail realized on this weathered 6015B project is incredible, and we can’t wait to see what Carlos will modify next!
