Introduced in 2013, the Cat^® 6060FS Hydraulic Mining Shovel combines a shovel that not only produces more, but lasts longer, works harder, operates more efficiently, and delivers greater profitability.  With it’s rated payload of 67 tons, it was the first shovel in the mining industry tailor-made for mines using 240 ton haul trucks, providing an efficient 4-pass solution to meet production capacity.

The unique Tri-Power system gives this machine safer, easier, and faster face shovel operation while generating superior mechanical leverage and control.  The boom design utilizes rotatable triangular rockers which facilitates an increase in the effective lifting force, constant boom momentum, automatic bucket angle, and automatic roll-back limitation.

Multiple bucket options are designed to match production needs, and are protected by a heavy duty wear package which includes a special liner material covering the main wear areas inside and outside the bucket, and wing, lip, and heel shrouds protect specific areas from impact and abrasion.
