Setting the standard for compact tail swing excavators in the 8-ton size class, the 308E2 CR SB Mini Hydraulic Excavator combines superior performance with comfort while reducing operating costs. Featuring smooth, responsive load-sensing hydraulics, the 308E2 provides the level of control demanded in fine grading, dozing, or backfilling applications. Equipped with an efficient C3.3B engine producing 65 horsepower at the flywheel, the 308E2 is capable of top forward speeds of 1.74 MPH in low gear and just under 3.2 MPH in high. The compact radius tail-swing design incorporates a counterweight that extends further back on the machine, creating a more stable working platform during lifting and digging.
The new, intuitive flow sharing “High Definition Hydraulic” system provides greater control of system hydraulics, allowing precise adjustments to meet the requirements of any operation. Powerful bucket and stick digging forces, combined with fast cycle times result in world class productivity and performance while two speed function improves job site maneuverability. Easy ground leveling for landscaping or finish grading is accomplished through the dozer blade for a more efficient job site clean-up as the operator does not have to manually adjust the blade height during travel. Additional machine control is realized with Eco mode, allowing the operator to choose between low fuel consumption or superior productivity with the push of a button.
