Produced in a limited, one-time production run, our Cat^® 349F L model is as impressive in brass at 1:87 scale as the real machine is at full size. With even the smallest of details replicated, this model approaches being a miniature mirrored reflection of the machine that inspired its creation.

At 7” long with the boom and stick fully extended and approximately 1 3/4” wide across the tracks it is not surprising the cab is just 1 1/2” high. What is surprising is that at this small size the interior of the cab is unequaled with control levers and foot pedals inside and safety handrails on the exterior. Finishing details that have to be seen to be appreciated include a true-to-scale, comprehensive instrumentation panel as well as lights, mirrors and a lower windshield wiper.

With movable cylinders and linkage, the boom, stick and bucket are able to match the motions of the real machine one-for-one. This exceptional level of accuracy extends across the components in the hydraulic system to include tubes and hoses as well as the swing motor and swivel at the base of the boom. Even the bucket has been reduced in size at such an extraordinary level of detail that each tooth and the wing shrouds can be seen.

The track frames are equipped with rotating drive sprockets that turn the individually cast and linked track pads. The accuracy of these parts creates the smoothest rolling tracks that we have ever produced in 1:87 scale. Also included are idlers with working tensioners and minute, multiple ground-level maintenance access points.

Helping put this model into the “above and beyond” category for collectors are accurate paint and markings which have been approved by Caterpillar for accuracy.

Each of these brass masterpieces is individually serial numbered and will come with a signed certificate of authenticity.

1:24 Cat® D9H Track-Type Tractor – Brass

Our 1:24 precision scale brass model of the Cat D9H is a true representation of the actual machine. To capture as much detail of the original as possible, it features individually linked metal tracks with tensioners, positionable blade, detailed cab interior and accurate markings. More than 200 individually hand-cast and soldered pieces comprise the model which measures at over 15” long, 6” tall and 7” wide. Weighing nearly 9 pounds this model will surely be the star of any collection.

1:24 Holt 75 Tractor & 8-Inch Howitzer – Brass

Honoring the original machine and howitzer combination, each of these model sets is hand-assembled from hundreds of pieces and hand painted in period military colors. All the features of the real Holt 75 tractor have been replicated in exquisite detail, from control levers to engine bolts. The Vickers Mark VI howitzer, created from drawings drafted by CCM from historical records, has the same level of attention to detail with its bolt-studded carriage, brake gear, adjustment wheels – including rifling of the barrel. Almost everything is articulated from the traverse and elevation, rolling wheels, recoiling barrel to the working breech. All models are individually serial numbered.

Classic Construction Models has recreated this mighty machine at 1:87 scale. Our limited edition model is constructed completely of high-detailed brass, and is a true museum-quality work of art. Also includes realistic fire suppression system, air intakes, engine exhausts, work lights, assembly hooks and access panels. All catwalks are in photo etched brass. The fully rendered machine markings, warning labels and paint scheme are all approved by Caterpillar.

We have crafted our model of this wonder with all the accurate rigging and details of the real thing. As with all of our crane models, all features can be positioned and articulated like parts of the actual machine. 1:24 Bucyrus Erie 15-B Cable Shovel – Brass

Our all brass, hand-crafted front shovel version of the 15-B, created directly from Bucyrus-Erie originals. A walk around the model from ground level shows the individual pads in the track assembly, the fully detailed track frame and working tensioners. Open the operator’s door and the model looks ready to operate with its complete compliment of controls and tractor-style seat. The 15-B’s power source, a six-cylinder gas engine, as well as the working drums, are accessible through the three sliding panels on the rear of the crane and hinged side panels opposite the operator. Individual sheet metal rivets on the house and hand assembled boom angle cords are just a few more of the museum quality details found on our Bucyrus-Erie 15-B precision scale brass model.

1:48 Michigan C-24 Toy Crawler Crane with Pile Driver – Brass

This Michigan C-24 pile driver is the most recent addition to our line of 1:48 brass model toys inspired by the originals from the ‘50’s. Other than being one-third the size, it is virtually indistinguishable from the pressed steel, 1:16 scale toy. If you’re saying “Wait a minute, there never was a pile driver version of the toy” you’re right, we just picked up where the toy makers left off 50 odd years ago and made this in the same spirit. This model toy uses the same carrier as the C-24 crane with its detailed rubber tracks and working outriggers. The pile driver “front” features a working headache ball, drop hammer and an adjustable leads. Only 200 of these will ever be produced, making this a classic addition to your collection or put to work on your O gauge layout.

This CCM Model Toy, a Michigan C-24 crawler crane, was created by duplicating the style and detail of the Ny-lint T-24 truck mount toy crane and the real Michigan track mounted machine. The track frames and rubber tracks are modeled to look like they could been produced in the same toy factory as the Ny-lints in the mid-50’s. As is true with our truck mount version of this toy, the winches and clamshell bucket work just like the original toy versions and the rubber tracks roll easily. This brass model replicates the original toy while remaining true to the design of the real machine which means it’s a perfect addition to any toy or construction model collection.
