The first issue of Caterpillar Magazine was printed and distributed in December of 1925. Designed as a forum to showcase Caterpillar products and technology at work around the globe, the magazine enjoyed print runs of as many as one million copies during the decade it was published. The style and subjects represented on the covers of these magazines were true reflections of the changing face of America - and the world - during that time. Top illustrators of the period captured moments that are now far distant but clearly depict the heritage and foundation of values that remain an integral part of Caterpillar today.

With the assistance and approval of Caterpillar, Classic Construction Images has selected 28 of the most historically significant Caterpillar Magazine covers to reproduce as unique and distinctive works of art. Each one has been meticulously duplicated and restored to ensure true to life colors, clarity and maximum display value.
